Accudemia: How do I notify myself when my AccuCredits are low?
Introduction
In Accudemia, in order to send SMS messages, your account needs to have available AccuCredits (1 AccuCredit equals 1 SMS/Text message). If your AccuCredits value drops to 0, then no more SMS messages can be sent until you order more or renew the license (which comes with a set amount per center/institution license). In this article, we describe how to create a notification so administrators can know when their AccuCredits are running out and order more from us by contacting their Sales rep.
Prerequisite: This feature is only available to administrators who are listed as Technical Contacts in Accudemia. Contact your administrator if you think you should have access to this, but you do not see this option available on your account.
Step-By-Step
1. Go to your Profile > Preferences.
Click on your name in the top right corner on any screen, then select the Preferences section.
Click on Notifications on the Preferences screen:
2. Manage the "Notifications" page and set the Notification Threshold.
Scroll down the page until you see this "When AccuCredits are less than X" setting and set the number of remaining AccuCredits/SMS/Text Messages that the account should reach before you receive the notification. In the example below, administrators will get a notification when there are only "10" SMS credits available.

Important! We recommend setting the limit to "500" to allow time for your quote/invoice to be paid, and for the best chance that the SMS/Text Messaging service will avoid interruption.
Conclusion
When you enable these settings on your Admin account by following the steps outlined in this guide, Accudemia will notify you when the account becomes low on available SMS/Text Messages.
