Conference Tracker: How do I create and share a post to a Social Wall?

Introduction

Users in Conference Tracker can create and share posts to Social Walls. These Social Walls are public spaces for users to interact with one another. They can either share their thoughts via text, or add attachments to go along with them. This article will explain how to create a post to be shared on a Social Wall, as well as an alternative way to shares files on their own.

Step-by-Step

Posting to a Social Wall

1. Navigate to Networks > Create a Post.



2. Create the post.
  1. Type the post's content in the textbox.
  2. Choose which Social Wall the post will be uploaded to. Leaving this space blank will send the post to the Conference Social Wall.
  3. Attach a file to the post if needed.
  4. Click the Post button to upload it.



Sharing files on their own

If the only thing being shared is a file, there's another way of posting it for attendees.

1. Click the "Share Files" tab on the "Create a Post" screen.



2. Click the Add files button, select the file from the computer, then click Share.
