Accudemia: How are my Announcements added for the Center News and College news displayed on the Homepage?
Introduction
In this guide, we'll show you exactly where each item will appear from the created Announcement in the Control Panel.
Note: If you add this Announcement at the College-level, it will appear in the College News section on the homepage, and if you enter this Announcement at the Center-Level, then it will appear in the Center News section on the homepage.

Warning! If you are licensed under an "Accudemia Light" account, then you will not have these same options. The news for those accounts is much simpler to set up.
Step-by-Step
The Title shows at the top of the Announcements/News section on the Homepage.
The Preview is what shows in the section, before they click the button to View Full Announcement.
The Announcement Text is what shows when the user clicks the View Full Announcement button in a pop-up window.
Basically, if you want certain items to appear on the page before they click any buttons, then the entire announcement should be placed in the Preview window. You could also have it copied in the Announcement Text, but that is what they see when they click the View Full Announcement button.

Note: You can also control who or what roles can view these messages by adjusting the settings for each of the Homepage Widgets in the Administration > Control Panel > Appearance and Themes section from the main menu in Accudemia.
