How do I set boundaries for early/late attendance (specific courses) in AccuCampus?
This article explains how to set boundaries for how early or late a user can sign in/out of a course. This will be used to identify whether a user is late if course attendance is being tracked.
1. There are
two ways to navigate to a user profile – either from the main sidebar, or by
using the search function at the top of the page.
From the Main Sidebar
From the Main Sidebar, hover over General.
Click Courses.
Scroll
through the list of courses to find the user you need or use the look-up glass to search for the course.
From the Search Bar
Use the
search box at the top of the page to search for the course. To do so, type in the
name of the course you want to see followed by in:events. Make sure to choose the course for the correct term. This option is only available in the browser.
2. Once you’ve
found the course you want to edit, click on the name. Make sure to choose the course for the correct term. This option is only available in the browser.
3. Boundaries can be established as to when a student attendance can be recorded. Students can sign-in early by an allowed time frame and/or students can sign-out late by an allowed time frame.
(Warning: These options influence beacon attendance recording.
4. Click Save.
