Ratings
Within AccuCampus, users are able to rate and leave reviews of locations and services. Users are always able to rate things on their own; however, you are also able to create rules that prompt users to leave ratings and reviews if you wish.
Ratings Settings
Before allowing users to rate locations and services, you’ll first need to set the types of ratings and moderation that will be allowed.
From the Main Sidebar, hover over Advanced Options.
Click Settings.
Click Ratings.
Choose the Rating Type. You can choose between a 5-point star based scale, a thumbs up/thumbs down scale, or a smiley face scale.
If desired, choose to Moderate Reviews and/or Moderate Comments on Reviews.
Click Save.
Location Ratings
From the Main Sidebar, hover over General.
Click Locations.
Scroll down to the location you wish to rate and click the rating scale.
Click Write a Review.
To add a rating, use the rating scale.
To leave a review, write your review in the text box provided. You may choose to make your review anonymous by clicking the Anonymous button.
Click Submit a Review.
Already existing reviews will be listed below.
To comment on an existing review, click Comment under the review.
Enter the comment. You may choose to make your comment anonymous by clicking the Anonymous button.
Click Post Comment.
To report abuse or an inappropriate comment or review, click Report Abuse.
A pop-up box will appear. Enter the reason the review or comment should be flagged for moderators. Click Ok.
To rate the comment or review as helpful, click Yes or No.
Service Ratings
From the Main Sidebar, hover over General.
Click Services.
Scroll down to the service you wish to rate and click the rating scale.
Click Write a Review.
To add a rating, use the rating scale.
To leave a review, write your review in the text box provided. You may choose to make your review anonymous by clicking the Anonymous button.
Click Submit a Review.
Already existing reviews will be listed below.
To comment on an existing review, click Comment under the review.
Enter the comment. You may choose to make your comment anonymous by clicking the Anonymous button.
Click Post Comment.

Click Moderate Comments.
Click Approve Comment or Reject Comment for any comments left there.
The Campus Community in AccuCampus acts as a social network for your users. Within the Campus Community, you are able to weight the actions that your users take if you wish to gamify the community and encourage involvement.
From the Main Sidebar, hover over General.
Click Community.
Click Join the Community to start using the Campus Community. If you are an administrator, you also have the option to invite everyone.
Open the AccuCampus App.
Tap the Campus Community icon.
Click the plus sign to add a comment, photo, etc.
Social Activity Scoring
Within this page, you are able to set the ability to score social activity within the Campus Community feature.
From the Main Sidebar, hover over Advanced Options.
Click Settings.
Click Social Activity.
Click Score Social Activity.
Set point levels for the following activities: Post a File, Post a Video, Post a Picture, Post a Message, Comment on Post.
Choose if users will be able to view the following network contacts within the community.
Classmates and Class Professors: designed to help students connect within their registered courses.
Recently Seen Tutors/Students: designed to help students connect with other users.
Click Save.
View Audits
This feature allows you to view an audit of a specific user’s actions within AccuCampus. This is typically used when conducting a security audit. You must put in a user and/or a time range in order to run an audit. All other fields are optional and just refine your search.
From the Main Sidebar, hover over Advanced Options.
Click Settings.
Click View Audits.
Search for and select the User.
Enter a Time Range to be audited.
If desired, select a Resource. This allows you to view a user’s actions for only one specific item in the system.
If desired, select an Action. The actions that are available are based on the resource you selected. If you didn’t select a resource, you’ll see the full list of actions.
If desired, select a Type of location, resource or user that the action was applied on during the selected time period.
If desired, search for and select an Entity. This is a specific item within the system that you wish to view the user’s relationship with during the requested time period.
Click Search.
Translations
Within this page, you are able to enter translations of common terms or change the terminology to match your institution’s terminology within the AccuCampus system. This change will be for your entire domain.
From the Main Sidebar, hover over Advanced Options.
Click Settings.
Click Translations.
Search for a specific term, or scroll down the page to find the specific term you wish to edit. Once you’ve entered a translation, it will be saved.
