In the event that an attendee was not able to be scanned during the conference and a record of their attendance needs to be created, then an Attendance Log must be made for them.
An attendee must have a Valid Attendance Log to receive credit for a session. A Valid Attendance Log contains an equal amount of In Times and Out Times that are within the limit of the specific session. It must also be within the Required Presence Percentage of the session.
1. On the left-hand Navigation Menu, click on Attendance -> Manage Attendance.
2. Click on the blue Create button.
3. Under the Attendee field, search for the name of the attendee the log needs to be created for, and select them from the drop down list.
4. Under the Session field, search for the name of the session the attendee needs to be in, and select it from the drop down list.
5. Click on the blue Plus button on the bottom right of the page to add a new In/Out entry. The entry will default to an In entry.
6. Enter the date and time that the previously entered session starts. If there is a record of the exact time the attendee attended this session, enter that time instead.
7. Click once again on the blue Plus button on the bottom right of the page to add a second entry. This time, it will default to an Out entry.
8. Enter the time that the previously entered session ends. If there is a record of the exact time the attendee left the session, enter that time instead.
9. Click on Save Changes at the bottom of the page.
Note: if you need to change whether a time entry is In or Out, you can click on the In/Out button and it will switch the entry.
