You can only place Map Markers if your map was uploaded as an image file type (.JPG, .PNG, etc.). You will not be able to place markers on a .PDF or .DOC file.
Map Markers are a great way to notify your attendees about specific areas of the venue. Attendees will be able to tap on markers from the Attendee App to see more information. To create a map marker, follow these steps:
1. Access the Maps page by going to Pre-Conference > Maps.
2. Click on an existing map or upload a new one.
3. From the Edit Map page, click anywhere on the map image to place a marker. You can also click on the Add Marker button. If the map does not appear, re-upload the map as a supported image file type.
4. Once a marker has been added, you can move the marker by dragging it to the desired place on the map.
5. Markers appear on the left side of the map. You can edit their label and color. To change the color, click the colored circle next to the label text box. To delete a marker, click the red trash can icon.
The character limit for the label is about 25 characters, so make sure not to write anything too long.
6. Repeat if necessary to add more markers.
7. Once you are finished, click on the green Save Changes button.

The Marker will appear as a dot on the Attendee App map.
