AccuTrack/AccuSQL: How can I check for software updates in the software?
To check for software updates in AccuTrack or AccuSQL simply do the following:
- Login to AccuTrack or AccuSQL as an Admin from the Sign-in Screen:
- Once logged in, click the Database option on the right-side menu. And then in the middle click the Database Location button.
- Click the Next button until you see the database information.
- On this screen you will see something called the "Application Shared Path" or "Shared Folder" and to open it click the Show Path in Explorer button.
- This should open that folder path with an "UPDATES" folder in it.
NOTE: This updates folder will contain files needed to update the current version of AccuTrack or AccuSQL.
WARNING! In order to proceed you'll need to close and exit out of all Accutrack or AccuSQL screens. - Once AccuTrack or AccuSQL is closed. Open the UPDATES folder and copy all the files inside.
- Next go to the desktop shortcut of AccuSQL. Right click it and select "Open File Location".
- Once this open the Installation Directory, simply Paste these files.
- You can now close out of this file explorer window and double-click the AccuTrack or AccuSQL icon to open the updated version.
NOTE: This updates folder will contain files needed to update the current version of AccuTrack or AccuSQL.
