AccuSQL: 'Provider cannot be found. It may not be properly installed' Error
Symptoms:
The following error will occur after a new installation of AccuSQL. You will notice that the error will populate specifically after a database location is set. You may receive an error message that is similar to the following:
Cause:
This problem occurs because the SQL Native Client driver is not installed on the local machine.
Resolution:
Install the appropriate driver for your environment:
- SQL Server Native Client 11.0
- SQL Server Native Client 10.0 (Click the + next to Install Instructions and scroll down to Microsoft® SQL Server® 2008 R2 Native Client)
- SQL Server 2005 Driver (Click the + next to Install Instructions and scroll down to Microsoft SQL Server Native Client)
