Accudemia: How do I sign in to physical and online tutoring appointments?

Introduction

Appointments in Accudemia can be either face-to-face or virtual; the sign-in process for both is slightly different. This article will explain how a user would use a physical sign-in station for a face-to-face meeting, how to use an online sign-in link for virtual meetings, and how to use the "Upcoming Appointments" widget if it's been enabled.

Step-by-Step

Signing in to a physical appointment

For physical appointments where a student will be meeting with a tutor face-to-face, the student will first need to be physically present at the college's tutoring center.

1. Find a physical sign-in station and log in with a user ID and password.

2. Review the appointment details, then click the Sign me in > button.

Signing in to an online appointment

Students who schedule an online appointment should have either received a virtual link in their email or have access to it via the home page or another easily reachable page in Accudemia.

1. Click the meeting link.

2. Click the green Join Session Now > button.

NOTE: If students are too early for the appointment, a screen will appear telling them to wait until the scheduled time.

Signing in to appointments using a widget

If administrators have enabled the "Upcoming Appointments" widget, appointments can be easily accessed via the Accudemia home page.

1. Log in to Accudemia.

2. Navigate to the "Upcoming Appointments" widget.

3. Locate the appointment and click the Join Session button.

4. Click the green Join Session Now > button.

Just like before, if students are too early, the system will tell them to wait.
