Accudemia: How do I show/hide a student's profile picture when they use a Sign-in Station/Kiosk?

Introduction

Accudemia allows administrators to enable/disable the option to show a student's picture when they log in to a Sign-in Station/Kiosk. This provides an easy way to quickly identify that the student is who they say they are. This article will explain how to enable/disable this feature.

Step-by-Step

1. Navigate to Administration > Control Panel > General Module on the home page.

2. Select a scope from the list (either a specific Center or the entire college) then click the View Settings button.

NOTE: Typically, the college-level scope overrides the settings for Centers in Accudemia, but in this instance, the Centers will override college-level settings.

3. Scroll down to the "Miscellaneous" section and select the "Show students' pictures when signing in/out at sign-in stations" check box.

4. Scroll up when finished and click the Save Changes button.

How it looks

If the feature was enabled, every time a user swipes their ID card or types their login information for Accudemia, their picture will appear in the top-left corner of the screen so they can be identified.

To expand the image, hover over it and an option will appear to zoom in.
