Accudemia: How do I make a subject area globally available to all students at my Center?

Introduction

Suppose you have some generic topics that you can help with at your Center and need to record these more precisely in your Session Logs. Then, for each of your Services, maybe you have refined options like "Basic Math", "Writing Assistance", "Study Help" that may not be related to a specific course that the student is enrolled in or registered to for the semester. In that case, Accudemia can be set up to show these fabricated "subject areas" to be available to all students while checking in and visiting a Center.  These can also be used in more than one center, if needed. This article will explain how to utilize both of these features.

Step-by-Step

Making a subject area available to all students in a Center

1. Navigate to Administration > Campus Setup > Subject Areas on the home page. 


2. Use the search function on the left side of the screen to find the subject area, then click on it.



3. Fill in the "Available to all students" checkbox, then click the Save Changes button.



NOTE: Repeat the steps above if there are other "subject areas" you want to be visible to all students.   

Making the subject area available to a specific Center

1. Select the "Centers" tab and check the boxes beside every Center that should have access to this subject area.


2. Review the page, then click the Save Changes button when finished.
