Accudemia: How do I add or change the role of an existing user?

Introduction

Accudemia allows administrators to assign roles to users, turning them into either Students, Tutors, Instructors, or System Users. This article will explain how to assign roles to users in a few simple steps.

Step-by-Step

1. Navigate to Administration > User Accounts on the home page.



2. Search for the user by entering either their First Name, Last Name, User ID, Role, or Active Status.



3. Click on the user's name to reach their profile.



4. Select the Security Tab and choose the role(s) to assign this user by filling in the checkboxes beside "Roles."



5. Click the blue Save Changes button when finished.

NOTE: Creating a new "System User" will reveal several more permissions that can be assigned to them.
