Accudemia: How do I manage the instructions shown in Kiosks?

Introduction

This article explains how to set instructions in the Kiosk Home Page. The message can be customized as needed. 

Step-by-Step

Pre-requirements: Only Administrators or Users with extended permissions are allowed to perform these actions.  Contact an Administrator to gain these permissions.

1. Click on Administration > Control Panel



2. Select the "Appearances and Themes" module



The tools for editing a Kiosk can be accessed by selecting its Scope. For example, to manage the "Marketing & Math Center" select it in the Settings for scope dropdown menu. 





Access to the settings that will alter a Kiosk's appearance will now be available. This menu allows Administrators (or those with the correct permissions) to change:
  1. The Header Type, Full Content, or Logo only
  2. Design a welcome message with images and text in different formats
  3. Upload school/center logo
The custom information and messages offered by Card Readers can also be edited here. This screen will look like the example image, below.
