Introduction
In AccuCampus, administrators can create Rules to restrict the length of appointments. This article will explain how to create this Rule and how to test whether it's working correctly.
Step-By-Step
1. Navigate to Advanced Options > Settings.
2. Select the Rules module.
3. Click the Create New button.
Create the Rule
1. Write a name & description of the Rule.
2. For the trigger select "When an appointment is created ".
3. For the Conditions, select "Duration (Minutes)," "=," then write a number for the minutes.
4. Click the AND button, select "Card Number" under "Appointment Staff Member," then select "is" and write the staff member's card number into the third box.
5. Click the Add Action button.
6. Select "Stop Execution" from the list.
7. Write a message to inform users that appointments must be made within the chosen time.
Test the Rule
Create an appointment with a tutor which breaks the Rule. When attempting to save the Appointment, the exception message should appear. If the exception message doesn't appear, start from the beginning of this article and double-check that every step was followed correctly.
