AccuCampus - How do I create and print a certificate?
INTRODUCTION
AccuCampus allows administrators and staff permission to create content-rich certificates using several templates and tools. Certificates can be used to show attendance at events. This article describes the process from start to finish.
STEP BY STEP
STEP 1: Select a certificate template
Go to Events > Certificates from the left-side main menu and click on the Template option.
Set the name and optionally provide a description of the purpose of this certificate and click the Save and Design button.
Choose a starting template from the list.
NOTE: The background can be changed with a custom graphic in the designer later.
View a preview of the selected template. If unsatisfied with the template selected, then select another one by clicking the View All Templates button to go back. To download a sample file for a closer look at the design with fake data, click the Download Sample PDF button. When satisfied with the chosen template, click the Use This Template button.
STEP 2: Customize the Certificate
- To customize this template, add "keywords" (a.k.a. mail merge fields) from the options listed on the right, such as $FullName$, which will be replaced with the user’s full name on the certificate. Other elements, such as text, images, and barcodes can be added as needed.
- When finished, click the Save button.
STEP 3: Save and/or print the certificates
The certificates can be downloaded and if necessary, printed for distribution. Choosing from the following filtering criteria:
Select the certificate template for the type of certificate you want saved.
Next choose the User Groups this type of certificate is needed to be saved.
Then choose the For Users with Role that should show all User Roles available in AccuCampus.
Finally, select either to save "All certificates" or "Only certificates for specific users" (if you just need a few from the roles and groups selected above).
After your filter selections have been made, click the Generate button, and a PDF will be generated that can be downloaded, saved, and/or printed as needed. We recommend previewing the certificate (by opening it) before saving or printing it to see if there are any further changes needed.
